At Dahmoe Haus Creative Agency, our mission is rooted in creating space, opportunity, and visibility for Black and Brown artists in the art world. We believe these artists are profoundly underrepresented in prominent museums and galleries—despite their talent, innovation, and ability to shape the cultural narrative.
Barriers like financial limitations, educational background, and lack of access to the right networks often exclude many artists from these spaces. Even when representation exists, it’s often confined to a single narrative or style. At Dahmoe Haus, we aim to break these barriers by connecting Black and Brown artists with the resources, programs, and opportunities they need to thrive.
As an art enthusiast, I’ve always been thrilled by the feeling of seeing a piece created by "us"—that joy of spotting a familiar voice in a room full of strangers. But it shouldn’t feel rare. Black and Brown artists are more than capable of excelling across every artistic medium, and their work deserves to be recognized not only today but for generations to come.
Dahmoe Haus is about more than individual success—it’s about building a network that fosters collaboration, kinship, and community. Together, we aim to celebrate diverse stories, grow collective strength, and ensure Black and Brown artists hold their rightful place in the art world as creators of history, not just contributors to it.
Let’s create a future where their brilliance cannot be overlooked.
From securing funding to curating collaborations, Dahmoe Haus Creative Agency connects you with opportunities across city art councils and curators, transforming artistic potential into extraordinary success. .
December’s featured collaborator is T.L. Williams, founder of Kansas City’s Music and More Foundation. This dynamic organization supports public access radio, performing arts, and music through microgrants. T.L., a spoken word artist, curates events like #BlackPaintKC, recently hosted at the Black Archives of Mid-America in the historic 18th and Vine Jazz District, featuring original jazz selections by Wichita artist Justin Wright. Passionate about uplifting Black artists, T.L. creates opportunities that enrich Kansas City’s vibrant arts community.
